NAB: Live from the Exhibit Floor
Greetings from NAB in lovely Las Vegas, Nevada. It's Day 2 and there's a lot of really amazing things going on in the production industry. Here's some of the personal highlights I've gotten to see:

New Training Site
Well, the good people at xTrain have just launched their site, and may I just say...WOW! They are going to be offering tons of classes over the next few months, and each track only costs $29/month! They offer tracs in Digital Photography, Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Web Design, Online Marketing and are starting to offer them in the Adobe CS3 software family. What I Use...
Here's some insight on what I use to create the content you see on this site:
I am currently editing with Adobe Production Studio Premium.
We shoot on Sony HVR-V1U's, PD-170's, but "Live Out Loud" was shot using the Panasonic AJ-HDC27F HD VariCam DVCPRO 100 using 35mm lenses.
I edit on my Dell Inspiron 6000 w/ an Intel Pentium M 1.86GHz processor and 2.0 GB of RAM, or a Dell workstation. I am currently in the market for a MacBook Pro a... (more)

One of the best (and worst) things about being in the mountains is being far away from everything...especially internet and phone access. Hence, the long delays in posts.
